Fly into Copenhagen Denmark airport. If you spend a few days in Copenhagen, this is a short list of things to do.

• National Museum of Denmark
• The Botanical Gardens
• Tivoli Gardens
• Karen Blixen Museum
• Throughout Copenhagen you will see many people riding bikes. If motivated, jump on a bike tour of the city.
• If you like to eat (and who doesn’t) take an award winning private Copenhagen food tour. There are many highly recommended options on Trip Advisor to select from
• Nyhavn – the harbor
• Shopping along pedestrian street Strøget

To get to the hotel in Höör, take a train from Copenhagen to Sweden. These are two options:

1. Take a train directly to the Höör.
2. Take a train to Malmö Central Station and then rent a car. All cars come with GPS and will get you to Höör Gastis with no problem. In Malmo there are several places to rent cars.
   • Hertz – about 3 block walk
   • Sixt – right outside the station

Day Trips from Höör.

• Lund Sweden (30 minutes by train)
  • Be amazed by Lund Cathedral, which is nearly 1000 years old. There you will see an astronomical clock which is amazing or come across a free concert if you are lucky.
  • Stop at the Kulturen and take a tour to see how Swedes lived from the middle ages to the 1930s. There are tours in English if you are interested.
  • Stroll the cobblestone streets, have a cup of coffee and shop the boutiques for fun trinkets to bring home.
• Helsingborg Sweden(train or car)
  • In Helsingborg there some sites to see and a ferry to Helsing∅r Denmark, where you can visit Kronborg Castle, which is known from Shakespeare’s Hamlet. This is a great day trip…leave Höör after breakfast and return home in time for supper.
• Småland Sweden (2.5 hours by car)
  • About 2.5 hours from Höör in Småland is the glass ring (Glasriket). At one time there were many crystal factories however only a small number of companies still exist since the pandemic. Make a visit to Kosta to watch the craft of blowing glass and where you can find Kosta Boda and Orrefors crystal to buy to bring home. In between shopping, you can stop and enjoy a Fika (cup of coffee and a treat) to relax and refuel. Other smaller factories/studios include Malerås and Skruv…however, these are much smaller. https://glasriket.se/en/
• Kalmar Sweden (2.75 hours by car from Höör, 1 hour by car from Kalmar Glasriket)
  • This is a wonderful historic Swedish town with a small town feel.
  • Quaint shops
  • Visit Kalmar castle
  • Visit Kalmar Cathedral
  • From Kalmar take a drive to Öland where the royal family has a summer home.
• Kivik
  • A fishing village where you can visit a Swedish market and the King's Grave. Also stop at Brösarp Gastis for an äggkaka
• Bosjökloster
  • Bosjökloster castle and gardens
